Emily started at Idaho Tree Preservation in November 2021 and is completing her TCIA certification in Ground Operations as she is preparing to train for her Tree Climber certification. Although Emily’s background is diverse in foreign language study, teaching, and working as a bicycle tour guide, the one passion that has remained constant is her appreciation for the outdoors and studying nature. Emily was inspired to work in arboriculture to gain a deeper knowledge of trees and to help promote ITP’s philosophy in preserving and maintaining healthy trees. One aspect that Emily loves about being an arborist is getting to see the positive impact of our work on trees for the health of our environment and enabling clients to enjoy their trees as green assets to their landscape.
Emily is currently TCIA accredited as a specialist in Ground Operations, Chipper Operations and Chainsaw Operation. This is just the beginning as Emily’s drive and passion for trees has set her apart as a person who will undoubtedly become a highly talented climbing arborist.
