Heather Larocco

Hi, my name is Heather. Always having an affinity for nature, I have been working with plants and trees most of my life. I became a Certified Arborist in 2013 while working in Zoological Horticulture for the Audubon Aquarium and Zoo in New Orleans. After moving back to Idaho I did landscape design for many years but always hoped to find a way to utilize my skills while helping the environment.
What better fit than working for Idaho Tree Preservation!
When I’m not at work I enjoy volunteering to bring therapeutic horticulture to at risk youth, taking care of my rare plant collection, performing belly dance, and road tripping to spooky locations.
In addition to a Certified Arborist, I am also an ISA Certified Urban Forest Professional #SO-6937AM,
Idaho Certified Nursery Professional,
INLA Certified Plant Diagnostician, and
Idaho Certified Firewise Landscape Professional.
I have an Idaho Professional Applicator License #85162 and a Certificate in Horticultural Therapy.
