ISA CERTIFIED ARBORIST #PN-9224-A. I actually started my arboreal journey on a whim. I decided, after one of my many fire seasons with Snake River Hotshots in Pocatello, that I wanted to do some arborists work in during the winter months in 2019. I had planned to gain more tree experience before the 2020 fire season. I fell in love with the field, and art of arboriculture almost immediately. I finished one more year in wildland fire before making the switch to arboriculture full time. I obtained my ISA Arborist Certification in May of 2021 and then I obtained my ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification in Nov 2021. The passion and love for trees and their conservation and place in our lives keeps driving me to learn more and achieve higher standards in this career. I plan to obtain BCMA and RCA in the future as well, along with many other certifications and qualifications along the way. I started working as a climbing arborist with Idaho Tree Preservation in 2021, seeking a home for my work with trees that valued safety, quality, and education as much as I do. I am currently in the process of obtaining my Certified Tree Safety Professional, which I will be applying as the ITP pruning division safety manager. My non-arboreal Hobbies are time spent with my family, travel and time spent outdoors, I enjoy trail running and the occasional hunt every autumn.
